Growing up, she always knew she wanted to be a teacher and in order for her to achieve her goal she worked many jobs that prepared her for the diverse and ever changing moments of middle school. After graduating with a Masters Degree in English, she became a First Year Seminar Instructor at TAMU-CC. During her fourth year at the university, she started substitute teaching for the district and became a long term sub. at Driscoll Middle School for 7th grade Language Arts. Those last three weeks of the school year changed her life forever. She was hired the following year and four years after that, she made her way to Cullen Middle School teaching 7th grade Language Arts. She can't think of any other place she would rather be. Now if it was summer break..... That would be a whole different story!
